Honors students bring various interests and talents to our community, but they all share a passion for taking learning beyond the classroom. While we do pay attention to grades (most students enter with a 3.5 GPA), our essay-based application gives all applicants the opportunity to show us more than grades: we are equally interested in what our students care about and how they will bring that passion into our community.

Honors welcomes applications from new students on any USU campus. First-year applications are currently closed.
Honors welcomes applications from both transfer students and current USU students on any campus. The program accepts and reviews these applications on rolling basis. Applicants must have enough time remaining at USU to complete all Honors requirements (usually four semesters).
