Last Lecture
Initiated in 1976, the Last Lecture has become an important Honors tradition at Utah State University. It gives students an opportunity to nominate a full professor who has made a noteworthy contribution to the education and mentorship of undergraduates, both inside and outside of the classroom.
Once selected by a committee of Honors students, this professor is given the opportunity to speak to the student body on the topic he or she would choose were it his/her "last lecture" at USU.
If you have a professor who has made an impact on you, whether through their teaching or mentorship of contracts or a thesis, please nominate him/her for the next Last Lecture!
