Amber Summers-Graham

Amber Summers-Graham joined the Honors Program in August 2008.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from The University of North Dakota in August 2007.  Amber had the opportunity to participate in several archaeology excavation and survey projects in Nevada, North Dakota, and Minnesota.  In 2006 she spent two months doing survey and excavation in Jordan at an ancient Roman Castellum.  Amber is currently pursuing a Graduate Degree in American Studies here at USU.

Amber loves spending time with her husband, Matt, and their daughter Abby. Her interests include gardening, gaming, reading, lithics, and rebuilding old vehicles with her family.

Amber loves living vicariously through all of the amazing things the Honors students do every semester.

Britney Marler

Britney joined the Honors staff in 2011. She is a senior at Utah State University and is currently working on a dual major in English Literary Studies and International Studies with a Spanish minor. Upon finishing her undergraduate research she plans to attend graduate school and spend time teaching abroad. Speaking of abroad, Britney has had the opportunity to spend a semester in China. While there, she taught English to Chinese kids as a volunteer with the International Language Program. She loved traveling and experiencing another culture so much that she has been accepted to study abroad in Spain for Spring 2012 where she will hopefully come back speaking Spanish.

Britney loves reading both literary classics for her English classes and fun books during breaks from school. She also loves all kinds of movies and has recently become attached to biking. Her prized possession is a tie between her macbook and her iPhone.

Britney loves everything about the Honors Program and working with students, so come by the honors office anytime!
