The OFP program provides a stipend plus round-trip travel allowance for students who live more than 50 miles from the laboratory.
DOE National Graduate Fellowships by Discipline - PNNL is an approved practicum site for several DOE graduate fellowships. Students who receive these multi-year fellowships must complete a summer practicum at a DOE site, and PNNL has hosted students in each of these programs in recent years. Each program has slightly different requirements and deadlines, and application is made on-line at the respective web addresses.
