Who is eligible?
U.S. citizens, nationals or permanent residents, senior or graduate students with fewer than 12 monhts of graduate study in science, math, engineering, science education, and some social science. Selections based on outstanding academics and broader impact of project. Study must lead to a PhD or research Master's degree.
Scholarship Description
Provides $30,000 plus tuition and fees for 3 years over 5-year period for students pursuing graduate work in NSF approved fields. NSF also has fellowships for minorities it these fields and for women in engineering, and computer and information science. Many social science fields are also eligible. 1000 in U.S.
