National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship
Who is eligible?
U.S. citizens or nationals who are beginning graduate study in science or engineering. Students in their senior year of college; or students who have completed no more than one academic year of full-time graduate study in one of the eligible fields as of October 1, 2004; or part-time students who have completed no more than 30 semester hours.
Scholarship Description
Award covers 3 years. Provides tuition, fees and an average of $27,500 for a yearly stipend for students pursuing doctoral degrees in mathematical, physical, biological, ocean, and engineering sciences. 170 awards per year. Very competitive.
