Honors Student Council
The Honors Student Council (HSC) is a unique opportunity for outstanding Honors students to become involved in the Honors Program.

The voluntary service that HSC members provide during their term of office will strengthen their leadership skills, and forge lasting connections to help them succeed. The Honors Student Council organizes, participates in, and recruits other Honors students to take part in service and social events. The Council also manages the publicity of all Honors events they plan.
The Mission of the Honors Student Council is three-fold:
- Act as liaison between the Honors students and Honors faculty and staff. In this role, the HSC will encourage ideals that promote the excellence of Honors students and the Honors Program as a whole;
- Foster a sense of community within the Honors Program. Students' undergraduate years are a time of lasting connections and memories; throughout each year the HSC organizes events, tailored to a sense of unity among USU's high ability students;
- Allow the Honors students who serve on the Honors Student Council to further develop leadership skills, enhancing post-graduation possibilities.
