Honors Leadership
The hope of the Honors Program is to give our students sufficient opportunity to develop skills and abilities they need in order to "hit the ground running" after their undergraduate career. One ability, or skill, that is highly favored by Graduate programs and employers is that of leadership. The Honors Program offers many opportunities to foster leadership development in our students, including serving as a member of the Honors Student Council or as an Honors Fellow.
The Honors Student Council
The Honors Student Council is a voluntary board of Honors Students that acts as a liaison between Honors students and Honors faculty and staff. This council also organizes service and social events for Honors students and manages activity publicity and recruitment.
Honors Fellows
Honors Fellows serve as peer mentors and teaching assistant and represent Honors at various events throughout the year and at all times.
